Create a sturdy bike and equip it with a 5”backlit display, 16 pre-programmed workouts, ProShox Cushioning, EKG pulse grips and additional entertainment options and you have the ProForm 305 CST Treadmill.
This great at-home or commercial gym treadmill is an option for those of you who are looking to get fit and optimise your workouts.
The 305 CST is a popular model, so let’s take a look under the bonnet and see what is in store for users.

Strong and compact
Measuring in at just 165 x 81 x 140 cm (65” x 31” x 55”) the 305 CST is compact enough to fit in most gym areas. It is also foldable so that it can be easily stored away out of sight (but hopefully not out of mind) when not in use.
The running size is 127 x 46 cm (50” x 18”) which is ideal for walkers and runners alike. If you are over 6ft then you might need extra legroom to be comfortable. If this sounds like you then we would recommend the NordicTrack Commercial 2950 Treadmill which has a 152 x 55cm (60″ x 22″) running deck.
We love the unique ProShox Cushioning which will also support joints as you run. No more aches and pains, even if you are pushing your top speed.
The 2.0 CHP motor drives forward a top-speed 16km/h, so you can have fun and really push your performance to the next level.
Although the 305 CST is a great model to just simply jump on and start running, they have included 16 fantastic workouts. You can complete each one and it will automatically adjust your treadmill settings for you.
Or, do it yourself and change the settings manually via the easy to reach incline and speed buttons on the 5” backlit console.
You may also be interested in an iFit subscription which is compatible with the 305 CST. This system will grant you access to daily new workouts, delicious (and healthy) recipes and community groups who are all on their fitness journey too.
Going up… the incline feature
Having an incline feature is a bonus on any treadmill. It means that you can really challenge yourself with uphill style workouts. You’ll also feel the burn as you start to target different muscles.
The 305 CST boasts a 0 - 10% incline ability, great to challenge beginners and intermediate users.
There are some treadmills, such as the NordicTrack X22i which also offer a decline ability for those of you which really want a new challenge.
The ProForm 305 CST gets two thumbs up from us. It is easy to assemble, offers both a wide range of programmes, iFit compatibility and even an incline feature. Above all else, we love that this model won’t break the bank. With a solid design, we know that you can use it long into the future.
